What can you learn from CDA?
China Debate Academy (CDA) was created to make Chinese debaters better adapt to International Debating with international debate best-practices they learn from their trainers. It brings the world's best debate trainers to China, to offer different perspectives on debating that benefit different audience. It also offers the best training experience with trainers to trainees guaranteed to be around 1:8, so trainers can always provide constructive guidance to sharpen your debating skills.
In China Debate Academy, trainees with different levels of exposure to debating will be divided, so that people can always benefit from learning things they most needed to learn. We group trainees into Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced groups when lecturing, so that trainers can help offer advice that caters to your need.
In China Debate Academy, besides lectures you will get, we will have about Three hours of Trainer-led debate exercises and 2 rounds of practice debate every day.
In China Debate Academy, everyday will be tiring but fun. A typical day looks like this:

What is the CDA Tournament?
A workshop is not complete if debaters can not test how well they've learned. CDA Tournament is scheduled on the last two days of the CDA, and it provides a opportunity for all the debaters to apply the skills they've acquired and test them in a truly competitive environment. CDA Tournament and Practice Debates also offers debaters exposure to a wide range of debate motions, so that people can get prepared for content frequently refered to in debates.

We look forward to seeing you in Shenzhen.

Best,

ZHENG Bo
