I cant seem to buy my sounds on the new splice design, it works fine on the old design. But when i try to add a sound on the new design, it just keeps loading on the "add for X credits". This is a new issue, and I've checked the firewall settings etc. Any ideas?
Amazing thank you for letting me know! So you are saying that splice is currently working on an app that will allow for this? Is there anywhere that I can access the beta? I am running on iPhone not iPad if that is relevant
this is a workaround for those who keep a pc online all the time. I've found the best way is to have the splice folder saved in a synced cloud folder. For example, my splice folder is in my dropbox folder. So whenever I download something on the splice page, splice downloads it to my computer in the dropbox folder. After a few minutes, those files are now accessible via my dropbox app on ios.

unfortunately for splice, I don't think there is a way to get around the splice app. this method just uses the splice app to automatically upload files to your cloud service..As recommended, sounds.com might be a sufficient alternative.
Fusion Systems Finger Splice Skiver Kit makes conveyor belt splice preparation a snap. Previously time-consuming, manual work such as finger splice, step splice and steel cord splice preparation can be accomplished far more quickly and efficiently using this kit.
Hi,
I'm not beeing able to update my subcription and I can't understand why. Basically, my card expired and I should update the information with the new card, but it is not letting me do it. What can I do?
PS: I've tried to use "incognito" but it does not work too.
In order to splice using the CRISPR, however, you must have every single variant of two different species. In this way, you'll spend a lot more time breeding animals than splicing them early on. However, the CRISPR can also clone any variant of any animal you've had in your zoo, which can be quite useful.
To splice on your own, however, you'll need to discover every variant of an animal first, also referred to as mapping genomes, which won't happen for a while. This is where breeding comes in. In the meantime, the corporation will occasionally offer to splice some animals using your CRISPR, though it'll be the simpler animals like geese, pigs, and capybaras. But this way, you'll be able to get a few spliced species early on.
Additionally, The CRISPR keeps the DNA of every discovered variant, meaning you don't need to have that specific variant currently at your zoo to splice with it or clone it. You simply need to have had it in your zoo in the past.
Once you've finally discovered every variant of at least two species in Let's Build A Zoo, you can freely splice them together, though the outcome cannot be controlled. You can only choose which two species to splice together. For example, after selecting the giraffe as the first species and the elephant as the second, which coloration they take is randomized.
But then I also wonder, if I want to do a version of each song for itunes/spotify, then I guess I render an MP3 version. Is there a function for letting the program automatically add the post-, pregap, for a track, or do I have to edit it manually for each track?
When letting wavelab automatically generate post- pregap and pauses, it automatically generates 2 seconds pauses between all tracks. In addition to that, it also adds 32 cd frames of silence after first start marker, 15 cd frames of silence efter each other track start marker, 3 cd frames of silence before each track end marker, and 60 cd frames of silence before last track end marker. See attached pic.
Ah, then I guess its a good thing to render all versions from the same montage setting using splice markers, as we talked about in out other thread. In that way audio cd/ddp and all rendered files will become identical.
Was just wondering if there was a way to stop Avid Media Composer from splicing/inserting audio (from video) from the source browser. It's annoying becouse every time I splice or insert a video clip from my source monitor, I have to delete the audio tracks underneath the video as I don't want them.
Structure of ribosomal protein S8 gene and evidence for trans-splicing. (A) Alignment of selected ESTs from three distinct variants of RP S8 with the genomic sequences of the Variant 2 of RP S8 (arrow, "gene"). Transcripts from each variant clearly show alternatively the TAC (red) and TTT (blue) motifs, which are absent from the corresponding genomic region. (B) The characterization of several PCR products and their comparison with EST sequences allowed us to determine the positions and lengths of the introns as well as those of the 5' UTR, the coding sequence (CDS) and the upstream region. The post-transcriptional addition of splice-leaders (SL) is schematized: the two alternative classes of SLs (TAC and TTT) have been retrieved in the RP S8 transcripts present in the library. Alignment corresponding to this schematic representation is available as Additional file 6. (C) The splice-leader genes encoding the two forms of splice-leaders are located in the 5S cluster region. Each splice-leader gene includes the splice-leader sequence and the outron, which is excised during the trans-splicing processing. Alignment corresponding to this schematic representation is available as Additional file 7.
In summary, three lines of evidence strongly support the occurrence of trans-splicing in S. cephaloptera: first, the conservation of nucleotide stretches, the splice-leaders, at the 5'-end of unrelated transcripts; second, the lack of these splice-leader motifs in the genomic copies of considered genes; and third, the discovery of SL-genes within 5S clusters, where they usually lie in other species exhibiting trans-splicing.
Examples of unrelated trans-spliced genes retrieved in the S. cephaloptera EST library. The presence of the TAC and TTT classes of splice-leaders is indicated for both ribosomal protein genes and other genes.
Structure of the ribosomal protein S8 gene with alignment of used primers, transcript sequences from the EST library and genomic sequence deduced from sequencing of PCR products. The alignment especially stresses the absence of the splice-leader sequence from the 5'UTR and upstream promoter region.
