Hi all,

I hope someone can help me.

I used to play BF:BC2 on my PC some years ago, without origin, using my install disc.

However, I now want to put my copy of the game on Origin, I know this is possible, but when I go to enter my key, a popup appears asking me to activate either BF:BC2 or BF:BC2 Deluxe, I go to activate my standard edition and it says my CD Key has already been used.

This is true, as I have activated it on my Battlefield account (Same username/Email address as my origin account) - So, I figure that the accounts must be tied via my email address but in that case, why am I unable to add Battlefield to my Origin account?

I have contacted help.ea.com and am waiting for a chat to connect, but it said the estimated waiting time is 50-55 minutes and I was wondering if someone could help me in the mean time?

Thanks very much

Please read below this on how to re obtain your code for your game.

Lost / broken disk but still have the serial code for the game: With your serial code, you are eligible for the download version of your game. You can download it through Origin and redeem your code. Instructions on how to do this can be found here: -your-serial-code-in-origin/ Make sure to uninstall the previous disc version and install the download version instead.

Finding the code on Origin: If you registered the game or bought it on Origin, the serial code can be found in the My Games tab on the Origin client. Download the client from here , log in with your data and go to the My Games tab. Hover over the game and find the "i". The product code listed there is your serial number (it can be different from your original one if the game was bought before Origin came out)

No access to the serial code: If you lost your serial code and don't have the game installed on an old computer, you need to contact Customer Support. They can be found here: -us if you registered your game to your account, it should be easy to get the code. If not, they'll give you a new code if you can proof that you own the game. See this: -a-replacement-registration-code/

@Firaenix It is likely tied to another account that you had set up initially when first playing the game. Just get in touch with an EA Game Advisor, as they will be able to assist you in either recovering the original account or activating the game on the current account: -us/new

I believe it makes it easier to change which aircraft goes on a flight. Rather than re-file the flight plan which, for example N774UA was scheduled to fly and got delayed and so N775UA has to do the flight, they can then swap aircraft without having to bug ATC (and given the sheer number of delays on a daily basis, this could be a nightmare if the clearance/delivery position is filled with radio traffic sorting out which aircraft is on what flight plan.)

a. This section identifies the criteria for eligibility and procedures for requesting the assignment of an International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) three-letter identifier and/or telephony designator for aircraft operating agencies, aeronautical authorities, and air operational services.

b. A three-letter identifier, which when used in conjunction with the flight number, serves as the aircraft identification in the air traffic control system in flight plans, fix postings, control messages, computers, etc. When authorized, the identifier/flight number combination is used instead of the aircraft registration number. Three-letter identifiers are applicable to ICAO assignments for commercial domestic/international aircraft operations, national record communication purposes and air traffic operational Service related functions.

c. A telephony designator, normally the company name or an abbreviation thereof, used in combination with the flight number is usually assigned simultaneously with the three-letter identifier and becomes the aircraft identification in all voice communications with air traffic control facilities. It is also used for telephone coordination purposes.

b. ICAO three-letter identifiers and/or radio- telephony designators will not be assigned to eliminate problems which can be resolved by changing registration number, or similar sounding company names. However, due to the vastly growing flying aviation community, modifying a similar sounding telephony designator will not be an uncommon technique. In the interest of safety to the air traffic control system and operationally appropriate albeit FAA standards, adjustments can be made via this procedure.

By using callsigns instead of the registration, it is possible for an airline to have canned flight plans. Why? Because it is rare for the same aircraft to operate a given flight with the same airplane day after day. Using a callsign allows for only one canned flight plan to be filed with ATC.

That would depend on the airline. Some airlines, such as Southwest, use the digits in the registration to identify aircraft while others, such as Continental, have fleet numbers that may or may not reflect the registration number

Electronic signatures on filings submitted through the Secretary of State's online process are the only electronic signatures that are acceptable for filings with the Secretary of State. Computer generated signatures or fonts made to look like a signature printed on paper filings are not acceptable.

"Electronic signature" is defined generally as an electronic sound, symbol, or process attached to or logically associated with an electronic record and executed or adopted by a person with the intent to sign the electronic record. An electronic signature may be as simple as typing in a name electronically, checking a box indicating an intent to sign or some similar process. However, electronic signatures only are permissible in electronic transactions between consenting parties. The use of an electronic signature requires the agreement of both parties to allow the use of the electronic signature and must be on a document that requires a signature and that is electronic.

"Digital signature" means an electronic identifier, created by computer, intended by the party using it to have the same force and effect as the use of a manual signature. A digital signature is a type of electronic signature that requires specific security criteria to be met during the electronic transaction to ensure the signature is from the party it is supposed to be from. Digital signatures use a form of encryption as part of the signature process to ensure the signature cannot be duplicated or impersonated and require the receiving party to have the encryption key to decipher the signature.
