DW's latencies are not due to the performance of the machine... and by the way, your machine is so much more powerful than the machine I use which is 8 years old... not 9 years old... the latency concern, comes from a leak somewhere in the DW code.
The Dreamweaver team announced at the 2020 MAX Conference Round Table Discussion that DW has no future development. It is minimally maintained with security & compatibility updates only. It is what it is for the foreseeable future.
And this is simply not true. Therefore it is logical and expected that there are people complaining that they are paying a subscription to receive nothing. In my opinion if adobe keeps dreamweaver for the minimum it should make it clear on the product page. The opposite is bordering on the concept of "misleading advertising".
