MUSIC THIS WEDNESDAY

Regina Pontillo brings her Fantastic Swingtime Band to Cat's Corner!
Her sweet and often ethereal vocals are a great complement to her
backing combo of musicians, led by pianist Si Perkoff. A dancer at
heart herself, Regina has been picking out and developing fun new
music for us to enjoy on the dance floor! The swinging band has
recently joined the rotation at the Sausalito Seahorse along with
other top acts such as Steve Lucky & the Rhumba Bums and the Medicine
Ball Band.

Adam Lewis is our DJ this Wednesday, filling in between the band's two
sets. Mr. Lewis has been a featured DJ at the Rent Party & Shades of
Blue after DJing in Sacramento for many years, and we're glad to have
him with us this week!

A MINI-CELEBRATION

This Wednesday, March 16, marks one year since Christine agreed to
teach with me at Cats Corner! I had already been impressed by
Christine's dancing, friendliness, energy & work ethic while
collaborating on the 24-Hour Cancer Dance-a-thon last year, but it was
when she enthusiastically and without hesitation jumped in to dance an
Irish dance with Catrine, Gerry, Darcy and me -- totally on the spot
and without knowing any of the steps beforehand(!) -- that I knew we
had found an excellent dancer for the job. Check it out:

After the dance, I asked Christine on the spot whether she wanted to
join me teaching at Cats Corner. She said yes, and the rest is
history! Students, guests and I have all enjoyed her great energy for
the past several month, and this week, I invite you all to come out
and celebrate with us. Please feel free to buy Christine a drink...we
hear she likes gin and tonic when she's dancing ;)

Registration is online for April Lindy Hop month-long classes with
Nathan & Christine which start April 6th!
