Getting error for CATS connection

Hi ,

 

I am getting error as ' <response success="false"><error code="403">Site has exceeded the limitation of 1000 connections per day.</error></response>'.

 

I am using the url as 'http://api.catsone.com/api/get_pipelines?save_user_values=1&subdomain=iplaceconnect&transaction_code=&search=&rows_per_page=&page_number=&sort=&sort_direction=&display_column=&filter=id%3Bequalto%3B+2119265%3B'.

 

Please suggest.

The API limits users to 1,000 requests per day.

Hi Aaron,

We are getting this earlier from last couple of days and we have not made any more requests.
I assure you that we are not making more then 100 requests/day. You can check in your log how many requests we are making.

I think there is some other reason. Can you please check this at the earliest? Its hampering my clients business?

OK, I'll up your API limit to prevent this error.

(All API usage counts towards the default 1,000 limit. This includes the API calls made by our Firefox toolbar, Outlook plugin, WordPress plugin, etc.)

I again received connection time out problem. It says we have exceeded 80000 connections in a day.
a. We are not making more than 10-100 connections a day so we should not get this error. Please help
b. Please provide me the log of all connections made and from what resource(IP)?

Please check the attached.

I am still waiting to see logs of our connection to CATS API server.

Perhaps the confusion is over the term "connections." The limit is based on requests.

We do not provide logs of API requests, but I do see we are getting about one request per second from 14.140.121.134. Most or all of the requests are to:

/api/get_joborder.php?subdomain=iplaceconnect&transaction_code=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
/api/get_pipelines.php?subdomain=iplaceconnect&transaction_code=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Please do not poll the API every second. Polling for updates should be limited to once per minute.

(Note that today we changed the request limit to be per hour instead of per day.)

Thanks for increasing the connection to hour instead of the day.

A log on this will help us a lot. Because we are on linux server where a cron can be set for minimum every minute. Its strange to know we are making request every second.

Please provide us the log for at least last 2 hours.
