Apply to job after create candidate

Hi,

I have read the documentation, but it is not totally clear how to create a application.

What i see is i need to create a candidate. But how can i actually apply to a job through the API?

I see a call to get all applications for jobs or for a candidate, but not seeing how to apply through api.
