Hello mentors,

I am Prabhakar Joshi, a 3rd year Computer Science undergraduate student from New Delhi, India. I am writing to express my interest in contributing to the Upgradation of the AR-Based Interactive and Procedural Marine Ecosystem Simulation as part of Google Summer of Code 2026 with the International Catrobat Association.

I had the opportunity to contribute to the development of the AR-Based Interactive Marine Ecosystem Simulation during Google Summer of Code 2025, and I would be excited to continue working on the project by exploring ways to further improve and expand its architecture.

Currently, I am also maintaining the project and have been experimenting with ideas to make the ecosystem more realistic, procedural, and dynamic. Some of the directions I am exploring include improving the behavior systems of marine organisms, introducing more procedural environmental interactions, and making the simulation more scalable.

I have implemented prototypes of a few ideas for the upgrade and will be sharing short documents and recordings explaining the concepts and possible implementation approaches so that they are easy to review and discuss.

I would greatly appreciate any feedback or suggestions from the organization, and I look forward to learning from the community while refining the proposal further.

Thank you for your time and guidance.

Best regards,
Prabhakar Joshi
