Background & Motivation to Contribute

[SAKSHI SHEOGEKAR]

My name is Sakshi Sheogekar, and I am a Computer Science student specializing in Data Science with a strong interest in building intelligent, real-world systems using AI and modern software technologies. I have gained practical experience through projects, internships, and national-level competitions, including being a finalist in Smart India Hackathon 2025, where I developed an AI-based solution for a real-world problem under a Government of India ministry.

Through these experiences, I have developed a strong foundation in Python, machine learning, and data-driven problem solving, along with an understanding of how to design systems that are both technically robust and user-focused. I particularly enjoy working on projects where data is transformed into meaningful insights and where systems can adapt and improve over time.

I am highly motivated to contribute to Catrobat because of its mission to make programming accessible, creative, and engaging for everyone, especially beginners. The idea of enabling users to build and experiment through a visual programming environment resonates strongly with me. I am especially interested in contributing to features that enhance user experience, introduce intelligent or AI-driven capabilities, and make the platform more interactive and impactful.

Through this opportunity, I aim to contribute with a strong sense of ownership, continuous learning, and a focus on delivering well-structured, scalable, and meaningful solutions.
