Hello everyone,

My name is Shivansh Pachnanda, and I am a fourth-year undergraduate student at the University of Delhi. I am writing to express my interest in contributing to the project titled
“Skeleton-Based Procedural Animation System for Marine Organisms” and " SeaSee’r: Underwater Mapping and Exploration using Spatially anchored Panoramas".

I have experience working with animation workflows using tools such as Blender, Unity, and Pivot Animator, and have previously developed and released small 2D platformer projects. In addition to animation, my academic and research interests lie in artificial intelligence and 3D computer vision. I am currently working on problems related to 3D mesh-to-mesh refinement and have also explored text-to-3D generation techniques.

More broadly, my primary research interests include 3D vision, animal pose estimation and computer vision, which I believe align well with the goals of these projects. I have also presented a research demo at IEEE ISMAR 2025 titled “Cephalopod AR: An Interactive Marine Biology Learning Experience through Augmented Reality,” which focused on applying AR technologies to marine biology education.

I would be very grateful for the opportunity to contribute to this project and learn under your guidance this summer.

Thank you!
Sincerely,
Shivansh Pachnanda

Hi mentors,

I have added my proposals to the GSoC portal, I would love to get your feedback so that I can make the required changes before the deadline. I have also completed their entry tasks and attached the required artifacts in the proposal.

I had added proposals to the following projects -
1. Skeleton-Based Procedural Animation System for Marine Organisms
2. SeaSee’r: Underwater Mapping and Exploration

Again, I would be very grateful for the opportunity to contribute to these projects and learn under your guidance this summer.

Thank you!
Sincerely,
Shivansh Pachnanda
