GSoC 2025 - Interested in Contributing to "Awesome Demo Game on Marine Biology"

Hi everyone!

I hope this finds you well. I am a sophomore Computer Science student at Mount Holyoke College interested in contributing to "Awesome Demo Game on Marine Biology" this summer. This project has really sparked my interest and I have enjoyed familiarizing myself with Catrobat, playing around in Scratch, and brainstorming ideas.

I have experience coding in Java, Python, and Javascript/HTML, and have worked independently to develop games using Unity, Scratch, and JavaFx. While I enjoy working solo, this summer I would like gain experience contributing to a team environment and working on something larger with real meaning.

I believe that creativity is the key to exciting innovative projects, and love how the marine biology game has a meaningful goal of spreading awareness about ongoing issues in our waters. I’d love to learn more about how I can align my skills with Catrobat's mission, and look forward to meeting you all!
