Dear Supreeth, Atharva, and the Catrobat Team,

Hope your doing good!

I am writing to express my strong interest in contributing to the Gemini-API Powered Intelligent Care Assistant project for GSoC 2026. The project’s focus on ethically governed, human-centered AI resonates deeply with my own vision of building accessible and responsible AI systems.

As a third-year Computer Science student with hands-on experience in AI/ML, backend development, and API integration, I have actively built scalable solutions using Python, FastAPI, Streamlit, MySQL, Firebase, and Firestore. My recent work includes developing a RAG-based offline medical health assistant for rural healthcare, where I focused on patient-owned records, multilingual support, and explainability-first design. I also explore XAI techniques (LRP, LIME) to ensure transparency in AI outputs.

I am particularly excited about the technical scope of this project, especially the data interpretation layer, role-aware output filtering, and ethical prompt engineering. These align closely with my interests in responsible AI, system-level reasoning, and human-in-the-loop design.

To get started, could you please guide me on:

  • Whether there is a preferred tech stack (Python/FastAPI, Node.js, etc.) for the backend proof-of-concept.
  • If there is a specific repository or entry task where I can begin contributing and demonstrating my skills.
I am eager to collaborate with the team, contribute meaningfully, and refine my proposal using the Catrobat template.

Thank you for your time and guidance!

Best regards,
Prashansa Pandey
