Dear Catrobat Team,

My name is Chaitanya, a Computer Science Engineering student at UCEK, Kakinada (JNTUK). I am writing to express my strong interest in the "AI Mentor for PocketCode Students" project for GSoC 2026.

I have spent the past week studying the catrobat-ai-tutor SDK and have already opened a Pull Request. My contribution adds in-app Gemini API chat support, providing a seamless alternative to the existing external app launch flow.

Why I am a strong fit for this project:

AI Experience: I built PaperIQ, an AI-powered research paper analyzer using the Gemini API (https://paperiq.onrender.com).
Technical Familiarity: I am already familiar with the SDK’s architecture, specifically the PromptStrategy, AiTutorViewModel, and the KMP structure.
Development Skills: Strong background in Kotlin, Android development, and Jetpack Compose.

I would love to discuss the project scope further and would appreciate any feedback on my PR to ensure it aligns with the organization's goals.
