I am Xu Hui, a piano doctoral candidate in FSU College of Music. I am organizing a Benefit Concert for Haiti which will take place on Feb 6, Saturday, at 3PM in Trinity United Methodist Church (120 West Park Avenue, Tallahassee, FL 32301-7784) it is very close to Leon County public Library.
For several weeks, everybody in the world has been worrying about Haiti's earthquake. Many people are generously trying to help Haiti. Back to 2008, a great earthquake in China destroyed many homes and many people lost family members. As a Chinese, I suffered pain when my country had this disaster, and I know how oppressed the Haitian people feel now. As a musician, I want to help Haiti by organizing and performing a benefit concert with my friends and music professors. This is our way of encouraging an audience to make donations to benefit the Haitian victims.
We know that many of you have been donating online, join us one more time to celebrate life for those who are fighting for it in Haiti! This is our way to say We Are With You!
100% of all donations will go to American Red Cross. Any donation will be accepted.
