Please pass this around to everyone in Tallahassee, last night someone tried to snatch my oldest grandson after football practice at Gilchrist Elementary. It was a 50ish year old man with a blonde headed woman in a white pickup truck. He opened the passenger side door and told Trey three times to get in the truck. Trey told him no and started to walk the other direction. Trey’s coach was sitting in his truck waiting for Trey to be picked up and saw everything happening and ran to intercept what could have happened. The truck took off but the coach could not get a tag number, then he called the cops. The officer said that she would let the school know and surrounding areas but WHY don’t they put something in the Tallahassee Mullet Wrapper or WCTV. If we were more informed about what was happening to our children then we would be more aware.
Trey was waiting of his uncle that left to go get something to eat while Trey was at practice. Of course his DAD (Trey’s PawPaw) tore him a new one for not staying with Trey. And thank God for the coaches that wait until all of their players are picked up.
Thank God my grandson is safe!
Thanks
