Hi, Folks,
I have been following your discussions. I agree with your suggestion that we should be careful about who we send the donation to. In our last teleconference of the CAT and CSSA officers, the consensus is that we should be responsible to all our donors, and send all our proceeds to official, credible charity organizations such as the Red Cross of China, the China Educational Charitable Fundation, via the General Counsulate of the Chinaese Embassy in Houston.
Our first transfer of $8,000.00 has already been delivered. Our second transfer will be made after the closing of the fundraisng campaign at the end of this week. Thank you for your caring and attention.

My suggestion is, do not believe what is said on the web. I can not tell you my evidences, you can call them to find out or you can try to find evidences on their webpaegs. Although I received your email before I sent out my post, I still can not tell you. Hope you can understand me.

很佩服你求真的态度，亲自打电话验证，我只是看网上很多人推荐OSCCF。
如果你发现OSCCF 可疑的话，请说一下疑点。
如果能证明是真的欺骗的话，他们已经欺骗了很多人，应该在网上提醒其他的华人同胞不要受骗。
但是如果还没有证据，就说lier好像也不是很严谨吧.....

其实大家都是好心，最好不要吵起来伤了和气。其实要验证其真假并不困难，他们的网站上讲不是有一名中日友好医院的护士参加吗？让他们提供一下那名护士的姓名和所在部门，然后打电话到中日友好医院求证一下就可以了。

I am not going to conclude anything on OSCCF for right now. Please find what I have done so far as below and you are free to choose and maintain your positions.
There was a post on huaren.us to call for masks in the name of OSCCF and the contact person is Shen Li. I called her at 86-13621374914 several times last Tuesday and Wednesday. Shen Li said China Red Cross has two flights to send needed materials to Sichuan everyday. The address she gave in case the masks will be delivered to her in Beijing is:

中国红十字基金会Yi Ceng (first floor)
Shen Li also gave me their contact at Chengdu. Her name is Yu Hong Ying and her number is 86-13981851230. I asked her when and how urgent the masks are needed. She said Chen Xiao Wei knew it better because Chen worked on the front. I then got Chen Xiao Wei's cell number 86-13439692343.
Although I didn't doubt OSCCF and its volunteers, I wanted to find out more about OSCCF after I saw Mr. Zhang's email.
I called Chen Xiao Wei on Saturday. She is the lady whose name appeared on OSCCF's contact page as well as on Sina's report for 天使妈妈基金. Her number is 86-13439692343. She told me that OSCCF and 天使妈妈基金 work together. 天使妈妈基金 is registered in China to get domestic donations for charity purpose because OSCCF is registered in US and can not get domestic donations. She said they are volunteers and they are free to work for OSCCF and 天使妈妈基金 or any other charity organizations.
I wanted to know more about OSCCF from indirect channel so I called 中国红十字基金会（简称中国红基会） 010-6559-9762 at 1:57 am EDT on Monday. A lady called Chen Xiao, who said she is responsible for Zhong Guo Hong project (中国红) answered my inquiry about OSCCF. She said it is cooperating with 天使妈妈基金 to do charity projects. She met 天使妈妈基金 members on the flight when they went to the Earthquake affected zones in Sichuan. She heard OSCCF from 天使妈妈基金 members. There was a blog article mentioned these two volunteer groups http://crcfvip.blog.sohu.com/87777463.html. It said its blog http://crcfvip.blog.sohu.com/, 中国红基会是中国红十字会总会主管、经民政部登记注册的具有独立法人地位的5A级公募基金会.
I will try to contact Wu Tao, who is a VP in OSCCF to get clearer picture about this org.

I am very glad to see I am named in this public discussion board. Very very glad!
Here I just make a brief statement related to the post I am named!
1. If any individual said that Mr. Zhang Jilin wants to ..., is interested ..., will to, that does not mean the individual making such a statement on behalf of Zhang Ji Lin. All the individual's statements can be treated as that individual's own opinion, except the individual can provide evidence it is from Zhang Ji Lin.
2. I (Zhang Jillin) have not sent out any post on this board before, from the day I came to Tallahassee until today. This is my first email to this board. Any of my posts forwarded to this board from other boards by other persons is by that person's own decision, the person who forwarded my posts to this board had never discussed with me, asked me for my opinions before the person's doing so. Their actions are with their own responsibility.
3. I do not want to know what kind of organization OSCCF is, its cooperators, and how OSCCF operates. It has nothing to do with me. I just want to know whether our CAT can trust it, whether it is a lier.
4. I had sent out emails on OSCCF issues to cat-administration board members and the related invited guesses only. But I DID receive an email on OSCCF issues outside the scope I sent out my email, educating me, and with the sender's name unable to be translated into Chinese. I did reply 2 emails to the scope within my first email and the sender. It is their, the sender and the person who forwarded my email to the sender's, responsibility for all the matters stimulated by that email.
5. I did discussed OSCCF issues on FSU CSSA board, but I had never mentioned any individual's name that can be found in Tallahassee.
6. I have not said any of this words: 挤占、挪用、贪污、侵占、浪费、虚报, 冒领, 举报. (I mean in English, I do not know how to input Chinese characters, these words are copied) related to OSCCF.
7. I did make a conclusion saying OSCCF is a lier, a cheater, but I have never said that OSCCF is not a legal charity organization, is not doing charity works.
8. I work for CAT, checking an organization's credit is part of my responsibility, so that I can express my opinions on whether our CAT should work with it. What I was doing and am doing related to OSCCF issues is not against any individual, it is my job.
9. I will NOT discuss any issue related to OSCCF on this board in the future, this is the only time I discuss this issue. If any of my emails, posts, and discussion related to OSCCF are forwarded to this CAT board in the future, it is the forwarder's responsibility for all the matters related to those emails, posts, and discussions.
10. Although I am not with FSU, I am an FSU CSSA google group member. My discussion on that board has nothing to do with this CAT board, except one can prove that I had given statement on CAT, or an individual who is not an FSU CSSA google group member but a CAT member.
