Version 0.9 of Cat is now available online at
http://www.cat-language.com. Cat now passes over a hundred tests, many
of them designed to thrash the type inference engine thoroughly.
Thanks to Sandro Magi, Cat is now also supported on Mono 1.13.8.

I am currently working on more complete, and up to date version of the
documentation, though I have recently updated the syntax description
at http://www.cat-language.com/syntax.html

Have fun with the language, and the source. Hopefully you are able to
put it to some use!

Cheers,

Confirmed that it builds and runs with mono 1.1.18 under Windows XP.

Hi, I compiled Cat on NetBSD with mono 1.1.13.8 and got this error:
UnitTests.cs(348,13): error CS0103: The name `TypeInferenceTestGroup7'
does not exist in the context of `Cat.Tests'
Compilation failed: 1 error(s), 0 warnings

I commented away the offending line (348) and it compiled without
warnings.

It seems that TypeInferenceTestGroup7 doesn't exist in my version of
Cat.

Thanks a lot for pointing that out Arlid. This was a bug I carelessly
introduced in 0.9.1.

I have just posted version 0.9.2
http://www.cat-language.com/download.html . This latest version
introduces "help" and "man" atomic operations, and fixes a whole slew
of bugs.
