How to achieve specific formatting for dimensions and tolerance?
To achieve setting B from Setting A, follow the subsequent steps.

Steps:-
1. CATIA settings can be changed, so that the box only encloses the dimension value
2. Follow below steps to change the format of the dimension box:
- Right click on the dimension and select “Properties”
- In the properties menu go to “Dimension Texts”
- In “Dimensions frame options” select “Value+tolerance” from the “Element” pull down menu.
- Press “OK” to accept the change.
- Now the dimension will be shown as below:
