A little more info . . .

We held a memorial for fans in the midst of a blizzard. We met at a school Jim attended, just a few steps from where he grew up and died.

Laura Mendoza, who designed and printed "River Jordan," designed and printed some memorial cards for the occasion. The cards feature unedited text from *The Petting Zoo*, which of course had not yet been published at the time.
