Dear Parents,

Greetings in Jesus!

We will be celebrating UNITED NATIONS & ALL SAINTS DAY on Thursday, October 25, 2012  at 1:00 - 4:00 PM, at the Obispado de Cubao, Lantana St., Cubao, QC. On this occasion, we will honor our saints who came from different parts of the world, the ordinary people who led extraordinary lives because of their love for God. It is our wish and prayer that in knowing more about their lives, we will be inspired to follow the footsteps of the Lord which is actually HIS design for us.

In order to make this event meaningful, we shall be doing two projects:

  1. Individual - Each student will research about the saint WHOSE FEAST DAY falls on his/her birthday. Find out the following information about the saint:

  • Birthplace, his family background

  • Reasons why he/she became a saint

  • On an 8 x 11 cardboard, paste the picture of your saint and his/her name and your name with Feast date/Birthday. Put a string to hang around the neck and to be worn throughout the duration of the program. Be creative.

  • Prepare a flag of the country where he/she came from. The size of the flag is 8 x 11 with a 1-foot stick as holder.

  1. Family - Research about the saints on the family members’ birthdays.

  • On a ¼ size illustration board, DRAW YOUR family tree AND WRITE THE SAINT WHOSE FEAST DAY FALLS ON THE FAMILY MEMBER'S BIRTHDAY.

  • This will be presented during the groupings per grade level.
