Hi guys. I hope everyone is well and having happy holidays!

I have noticed that my cat genie is not dispensing the cleanser. I have tried using a regular sani solution cartridge. The bag looks pretty much the same even after a month of use. I have also tried the "endless supply" method with no evidence of consumption.

I have noticed solution and/or water gets on the base near the black gear that turns turns the impeller. My bowl every few days ends up indefinitely turning. In general cleaning the sensor helps hg y😑

You'll have to open up your processing unit, to see what goes wrong. Either something is clogged, forcing liquid out through places it is not supposed to go. Or something is leaking. Both are bad, because the motors and electronics generally don't get better with cleaning agent leaking all over them.

The pump is easy to fix. It's just silicone tubing going trough a U-shape and a set of rollers pushing the liquid through; A displacement pump. Replacing the tubing usually fixes the problem. Make sure you keep the bead in the tubing; That prevents the tubing from being pulled through the pump.

Did you check the needle which is at the bottom of cartridge holder?

Open your Processing Unit and check the tubing.

If you don't see any kinks, open the displacement pump under the cartridge holder. Be careful not to loose any parts.
That the tubing out of the pump, take plenty of picture to help you put it back, and disconnect the tubing from the bottom of the cartridge-well. Now take a syringe with hot water, connect it to the tubing and gently force some water through the tubing.
When water flows easily through the tubing again, put everything back together and it should work.

Tip: Use the CG's internal diagnostics mode to operate the dispensing pump. When it's switched on, a few drops per minute should come out. Less than you'd expect.
