Hallo,

If somebody throws away his Catgenie120, would it be possible to remove the gear disk for the scooper and give it to me.

I would be really grateful.

Wow! I have seen several instances of the metal pin that holds the gear onto the stainless steel rod that ultimately connects the gear to the scooper corrode and break, but I have never seen that large gear break. Some sort of congratulations are in order :) Did it fail due to age or did it suffer a fall while cleaning the CatGenie? 

In regards to your damaged part, I’ll look in my CatGenie parts bin tonight to see what I have.

I think the problem was that the cat wanted to prevent the scooper from moving up. And for security reason (not to kick the cat into the drain) it breaks.

I wonder if you could 3D print it?  My local public libraries offer free 3D printing. You just have to stay with your project until it is done.
