I just spoke with Eileen Baucom again. she lives on Sikesville Road. It's a Monroe mailing address, but it's in Unionville. Near Piedmont High School in Union County, and about 30 minutes from Concord. She is disabled, her daughter who lives next door is in a wheel chair from crippling arthritis, and she has a daughter who is in a group home that she gets on the weekends and cares for. It's a sad situation and she doesn't seem to be trying to get us to do work she could do herself. I really don't think she is able to do the trapping and transporting. I hope someone in your group can help. I'll contact the Mineral Springs clinic to see what arrangements we can make there to get the cats done. Thanks. Reita

Shirley Barnes called, she said someone in our group is supposed to be verifying that Sandra Weinstein is a legitimate rescuer. Weinstein claims to be from Colorada or California, and that she is getting her 501(c)(3) status. Shirley agreed to reclaim cats from Gaston County shelter, and foster them for Weinstein.
