To whom it may concern,

I hope this email finds you well. As you may know, the 2018 Tallahassee Chinese Art Exhibition is coming soon. Please find the details below.

Exhibition Title: 
2018 Tallahassee Chinese Art Exhibition
 
Sponsor: 
Chinese Association of Tallahassee; Foster Tanner Fine Arts Gallery, Department of Visual Arts, College of Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities, Florida A&M University.
 
This Exhibition serves as a collection of artifacts from local Chinese talents and aims to enrich the Chinese culture to the local community. The Exhibition will include artworks created by both local Chinese artists and visiting artists from China.
 
Theme: 
Artworks created by Chinese and reflect the Chinese culture will be selected for the Show. It could be in the form of traditional ink and brush painting, calligraphy, prints, photography, and paper cut or, 3D sculpture, ceramics, embroidery, silk, short movie, etc.  
Dates: 
Each artist could submit two artworks to Nan Liu before May 1st, and the artists could begin installing as early as the week of June 25.
The exhibit will open its doors to the public on Thursday, June 28.
The opening reception will be Thursday, June 28 (5:30 PM-8: 30 PM), Chinese Painting Demonstration and art talk by a guest artist from China.
The show will come down on July 28.

Dr. Dai Zheng (Artist, and Professor of Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts, China)

The exhibition opening reception will be Thursday, June 28 (5:30 PM-8: 30 PM), Chinese Painting Demonstration and Art Talk: Chinese Ink Painting – Dr. Dai Zheng.

Application Fee
$20 application fee for each exhibition artist will be collected by CAT president Shouxiang Jiang as the activity fee for CAT.

PURCHASES
A 20% commission for Foster Tanner art gallery and 10% for CAT will be taken off all sales. Sales will be encouraged and artists are encouraged to place entered art up for sale.
