"After reviewing the promises and limitations of CAPT software, the article reviews 21 websites and mobile apps. The purpose of the article is to provide information that will guide teachers and learners of English language pronunciation in selecting the most appropriate and helpful online resources for their learning/teaching needs… Each review gives information on the software’s sponsor/author, type, source, cost, instructional type, intended audience, objectives, major features, pros, and cons. It ends with a “verdict” (general conclusion) regarding the app or website’s overall value."

One caveat is that if you click on a link from the article and your browser gives you an error message (e.g., “Page not found”), look at the URL, and if there is a hyphen, delete it. It’s possible that the text editing software used to write the article was set automatically hyphenate long “words”–which frequently occur in web names and URLs.
