Dear all,
I'm hoping to get more concrete information on something mentioned during the TOP-IG lunch meeting at the CATESOL Northern California conference last month. If I am remembering correctly, mention was made about progress toward the inclusion of ESL classes under the umbrella of (and hopefully receiving similar status/attention/resources as) world language programs. Can anyone fill in the gaps of my memory on this topic? Was this a recent announcement? Progress report? K-12? Community college?
Many thanks in advance!
Best,
Molly
