Report from the March 2, 2019 CATESOL Los Angeles Regional pronunciation luncheon rap session: Despite the driving rains, the session attracted close to 30 pronunciation afficionados. Rap leader Donna Brinton asked members to introduce themselves. With the remainder of the time, members discussed issues they were dealing with, elicited suggestions, and shared strategies. Brinton reminded attendees of the recently-published special issue of The CATESOL Journal [30(1)] on pronunciation teaching and research. She also noted the upcoming PSLLT Conference at Northern Arizona University (September 12-14).
