Guys,

Here is an update from Caterham side. It was easier to coordinate and get an update once for you guys.

Part of the problem is also about few email addresses are not even included in the Addleham email address which is why they havent received email. We will to make sure we will add those emails to the googlegroup to make sure they get these emails in future.

We were able to touch base with people individually on their availability for the Diwali party. Couldnt get hold of few people which we will be doing in the next few days again to confirm.

Satish, Gopi and Pavan (myself) will be volunteering for the party. If anyone else is interested please let us know. I think it will be good to have one more person.

I think we should prepare a small google doc to list out the people who are coming and the count which will give us an idea for food order as well as the Club house limitation.

If there are enough people, we should definitely go for the immediate hall as well apart from the party room. Lets discuss further and analyze

Hope you all are doing well and hopefully breathing a sigh of relief that the kids are back to school after the summer break :)

Well, its time of the year that we plan our community events. Given that our community halls get booked pretty quickly, it helps to be swift in our decision making process to plan events.

This year the Diwali is on Nov 3rd and we are planning to celebrate it at our clubhouse on Nov 2nd (Saturday) evening. We need your enthusiastic participation to make it a great event where families can get together and celebrate with their neighborhood friends.

So far we have verbal acceptance from 13 families and we will appreciate if you could please respond to this thread by 15^th Sep if you think you can make it to this community Diwali celebration.

We are planning to get contribution of $100 per family which will cover Club House rent, DJ, snacks, dinner, beverages and fireworks (cannot promise).    

Also, if you would like to be part of the organizing group please let us know so that we can include you in future planning and logistics emails. So far Anil, Jatinder, Parag and I have volunteered.

Yeah, lets not add caterham as it will send double emails.
I am sure the list wont change often as the houses are already done. 

I think Gopi and Venkat did not receive the email. So check those two members and also check the below list.
