My chrome version got updated automatically to 115 version and when i run webdriver-manager update command why its downloading 114 version of chrome? Even i tried to download 115 version directly and paste it in webdriver manager and run webdriver-manager start command still it automatically picks 114 version exe even when that file is deleted.

Kimy is not helping you. Here's what I had to do. I completely deleted Chrome, go to uninstall programs and fully uninstall it, including manually going into your program files and deleting the Google Chrome folder. Then I downloaded the older version of Chrome, the last one before the recent update. Before you install it, disconnect from the internet. Then install the older version of Chrome and prevent it from updating. There are a few ways of doing this, I did option number 2: -automatic-chrome-updates-windows/ And then restart your computer and allow it to connect to the internet. Open Chrome and you should see the CAST option in the dropdown menu as before. Do not let it update. You will lose all your bookmarks and saved work but this is the only way I have found to continue using ChromeCast with your computer. Due to this experience, I will never buy another Google product again. Shame on them for disabling a product that thousands of people have purchased from them. Don't use whatever version of chromedriver that you appear to be using. If you do not specify a chromdriver, it will use the one that we already have installed that will work with the version of chrome that we have installed.

When it comes to Enterprise chrome installs we have to rely on the registry as an authority as the registry key itself provides no information on where the executable is located; we would have to search the entire file system to attempt to find the executable to confirm the version (why is there no yikes emoji here? ) In other words, the most notable difference for us is the complete absence of an install location field, this means that we are not able to confirm the presence of the executable on disk as the registry key contains no information to point us towards its location. In a case like this we have to refer to the registry as an authority as if we do not we simply would have to assert that there is nothing present, entirely removing all fingerprinting for Enterprise Chrome.

Is there any issue in pushing enterprise MSI google chrome to existing chrome end users devices? or MSI will just upgrade it to latest version as I believe its just an name google enterprise and standard. both builds are on same isn't it?

Does it leave old version of chrome as well as some guys have faced this issue with chrome updates? any suggestion. If that may be possible I can go with SCCM deploy MSI that will uninstall and install latest version instead ADMX

removed appvol agent from a test machine and tested with same gold image and I could see the correct version of chrome, now not sure how to get correct chrome version with appvol, any reg key or config change to make.

in my test machine there is to Chrome Appstack attached and I removed the appvol agent here. If I move back to production my VDI which is assigned to me having only chrome installed on my Golden Image and there is no Appstack with chrome attached here. Theren in my prod system it showing the chrome version as 84. Seems like some where its caching the old chrome. dont know where it is.
