Creating a stripe payment engine

Hey Guys, 

I'm working with a small startup, we want to build a crowdfunding/investing platform for AI models. 

We're planning to use Catarse as a starting point for our platform because it is by far the best quality open source (or paid actually) project out there.

We're going to be using stripe since that brand name will make US investors and funders more comfortable and we're planning on making a stripe gateway based on https://github.com/sushant12/catarse_stripe

Any advice or assistance would be greatly appreciated, we're hoping to have it up and running in under 2 weeks.
