Don't forget to send me your personal statements by tonight!!! If you're
still having trouble thinking about what to write, here's the basics of
what is needed in the personal statement:
1. Who you are as a student and artist, what year, what your knowledge of
art is and your aspirations are.
2. How Catalyst is helping you as a artist, a student, and an individual
through academic/personal goals. Lots of 'I' 'my' 'us' 'we'.
3. How funding will provide all the necessities to help you individually
and collectively as working artists.
4. Your personal intake of how Catalyst will help the greater community
(Claire Trevor School of the Arts, UCI, LA art community, Southern
California, etc).
5. How Catalyst is helping the Studio Art Department for the undergraduate
community.
