Hi, Manuel.
So I just noticed that you have Broadway, New York available as a YTube video. Is this the exception or do you have a list of videos we can watch? I searched all over the site but to no avail.

Hi Andru,

You are right, the videos are not very discoverable. And it's not very systematic, I uploaded a few videos extracted from the recent Bluray release.
I may create a page that lists all films where a video available.

Some of them can be found linked on this page:

Best,
Manuel

Hello Manuel,

I'm not famiar with this type of forum, but will do my best. My question is a similar one: where could I find the films themselves?

I think I can identify a 'famous' Dutch visitor on the film with president Loubet at the opening of the Paris exhibition on 14 April 1900, there are two films actually, both indicated here: https://catalogue-lumiere.com/inauguration-de-lexposition-par-m-le-president-de-la-republique

Where should I go to check them? I know Youtube versions of them, but there the pixel quality is not as good as I guess the originals are. Can you please advise me? Best regards, Johan Snel, The Netherlands.

Hi Andrew,

The movie of "Broadway, New York", shot by Alexandre Promio, was published on a DVD/Bluray release by Institut Lumière in 2015.
This Bluray has 114 movies in 1080p format, with an audio commentary by Thierry Frémaux.

Some of them are on Youtube, but it's not very systematic.

I hope this helps!

Manuel

Hi Johan,

You should probably get in touch with the Institut Lumière:
Not sure who to contact...
Maybe the assistant of Thierry Frémaux?

Best,
Manuel
