Edson Pedestal

Hi from Aus, a question for the brains trust, has anyone had any issues with corrosion on the Edson pedestal?

I contacted Edson and they say that have had no issues with their pedestals, it must be a galvanic issue from our end.

We have numerous bubbles on the pedestal and seems to be getting worse.

We installed a second galvanic isolator but it has made no difference

I believe on ours that piece is all fiberglass, not metal. I’m thinking it’s more of a delamination issue as opposed to corrosion?

My understanding is that the pedestal is aluminum and I was told not to do anything which would impair the integrity of the paint as it will only create a weak spot.
