Dear Alley Cat Rescue Supporter,
Thank you again for a wonderful year! We could not have saved as many
cats and kittens without your contributions. Because of your
donations, we spayed/neutered 512 cats, of those 276 were feral cats
who were trap-neuter-returned (TNRed), and we found loving, fur-ever
homes for 180 cats. We also continue to offer a low-cost spay/neuter
program to Maryland and Washington, DC residents and help individuals
all over the US find cat rescue organizations in their home towns who
can help with TNR programs.
Every year, millions of cats (and dogs) are killed in shelters across
the country because there are not enough homes for all of them. ACR
works everyday to stop the killing by educating the public on the
importance of spaying/neutering their pets, by providing those
services, and by advocating and implementing TNR programs. As we work
towards breaking the breeding cycle HUMANELY and reducing the number
of animals ending up in shelters, the closer we become to a No-Kill
Nation!
Thank you for supporting ACR and our efforts to save all cats
(domestic, feral, and wild), while decreasing the euthanasia rate. We
hope that you will think of us and our feline friends during the
