OUR 3RD NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH MEETING

Hello

Our 3rd neighborhood watch meeting is scheduled for June 26th at 6 pm at Our Lady of Mercy Church Conference room.  Richmond Police Department crime prevention specialist Michelle Milam will be there and we are hoping one of our Beat 1 Officers will as also come.  Let us know if you can make it and if you have questions about safety Michelle is the one to ask.  We are still a baby group and there may be things we can learn about keeping our neighborhood and ourselves safe.

Our street captains are:  Vasti Porter for Eddy, Oliver Reyes for Tewksbury and Heinz Lansford for Castro.  We still need a captain for W.Richmond. 

RSVP so we have an idea of how many people will be there.

Unfortunately I will still be at work. I apologize for not being as active as I had hoped to be, but my work hours never seem to work for meetings. However hopefully my unusual comings and goings keep a surprise resident presence in our neighborhood!

Yes! unusual hours are good.  Am very happy with my dropcam cameras (indoors) and eventually will bet one for the outside as well.  Will let you know how the meeting went.

Hi Michelle,

our meeting is confirmed for the 26th at 6 pm at OLM Church conference room.  Do you think we could get one of the beat 1 officers or the Captain to come and talk about incidents on Eddy, W.Richmond, Castro and Tewksbury in the last 6 to 12 months and what they are doing?

We are hoping you can help us figure out what else we can do as we have found that in spite of all our Neighborhood watch signs in the windows at least two cars have been stolen, one right under a street light, a garage on Castro was broken into right under a Neighborhood watch sign etc.  We also wanted to know about the March 20th incident on W.Richmond where drugs were thrown in the bushes ( the police were called by our watchful neighbors /but the perpetrators left/after the police left the perps came back!) It would be good to know what was found.
