I received my special edition books today - editions from Troll Con
with the color plates. They look very nice. I have previous versions
of M&T and the PHB, but this is my first look at Gods & Monsters.
That book has a lot of cool stuff in it as well. And the best part is
you can get all three for only marginally more than a lot of other
single rule books out on the market.

Absolutely. Production quality on these is very good, and the content matches.

And if you think these prices are good, wait until they run their
"Twelve Days of Troll-Christmas" or March Madness sales.

Sadly I'm saving money for furniture and home renovation for my new house... so I had to pass on these books.  I'm hoping that the Trolls released deluxe versions of the PHB, M&T and G&M, with the color plates, after the core 4 are released.

There has been some talk in the TLG meetings about just such a product
but nothing has been set in stone yet. I hope everyone that did happen
to get the softcover TC edition books is happy with them!

They should see if there is any interest by taking pre-orders for such a product (priced appropriately due to the limited print run and added production costs) and make sure that the books have been THOROUGHLY proof read before going to press.  There's nothing worse than getting a pricey, limited print run book with errata in it.  ;)
