ugh ok i know all my emails to this list have been super lame and i should probably just write this on actual paper but:

a) the popcorn in that glass thing was totally infested with moth larvae, so i just threw it out

b) in the process of throwing it out, i accidentally broke the glass lid--whoever owns the container, let me know how i can repay/replace!

c) we have a moth problem, and from experience in other houses, it only gets worse if people aren't super vigilant about regularly checking dry, carbohydratey food for moths (you can tell if there are stringy things that attach to the sides when you shake the box). it's also a good idea to not have open containers of stuff--putting opened boxes of pasta in tupperware, or a double plastic ziploc, is smart. the longer we go without doing these things, the more aggressive the moths get, and soon enough they end up in everything, including unopened tea bags and such, and it's the worst.
