Big Changes at Castle Nottingham

Patrick Nottingham here. I hope this email newsletter from Castle
Nottingham finds this new year treating you well. Big changes have
been happening at Castle Nottingham.
First, most of you might remember the saga of our conflict with
the PA Dept of Agriculture and heir ardent belief that we needed to
follow all the same rules that Professional Haunts do. Well, we made
it through 2006 by the skin of our teeth, but after a huge amount of
reflection our family has come to the difficult decision that
Nottingham Manor will no longer cntinue in its current incarnation. We
simply can't keep ding all this for free, and realistically turning
pro in our current location is simply not an option. Also, for the
immediate future the haunt will take a rest. But this isn't a bad
thing!
I decided after all this that the Castle has to continue in some
way on the web. So the site has been redesigned to reflect more of
where I'm focusing my energies for the future. Castle Nottingham has
been turned into a total clearinghouse for the strange and weird -
just like me. The front page is now a blog where I cover daily all the
weirdness that I come across - news of the weird and paranormal,
opinion, true tales of the supernatural, science, and even a dabbling
of original fiction! In fact I'm busy writing a novel and will reveal
the first draft right on the site. Just for you. For free. And this
newsletter will be coming to you twice a month with fantastic links to
some of the strangest articles anywhere on the web. So remember that
you can opt out of this newsletter at any time, but what have you got
to lose by keeping it - nada, zip, zilch.
But before you are tempted to unsubscribe check these links and
cruise around the Castle - bask in the high strangeness there. And if
you think someone you know might be interested in this newsletter then
