Thank you for contacting the HOA with your inquiry. That area along Aries is maintained by the City of Lewisville (COL) and it is them who cut the trees. I wanted to check what is the plan for planting new trees on Aries St after the old ones have been cut down.

Please see the attached 2023 Annual Meeting presentation that should provide some clarity as to what is maintained by the HOA vs City of Lewisville. It should also provide clarity as to how the dues are budgeted for the upcoming year along with the following:
- The Annual Assessment Includes & Covers:
- Mail delivery to your front door
- Access to all 6 amenity centers
- Access to workout rooms, playgrounds, sand volleyball courts, sports courts (basketball, tennis, pickleball), sports fields, disc golf course (PH 11/CH Southwest) & Academy Park (behind Sword Bridge Amenity Center)
- Resident Only Banquet Room Rental *Additional Charge
- Seasonal Pool Membership *Additional Charge
- Community Garden Plot *Additional Charge
- Planning and executing of community events
- Improvements and updates to common areas and facilities - and the community is quite large at over 4,800 homes.
Should you have any ideas, input, or questions regarding the budget, feel free to attend the next Castle Hills Residential Association annual meeting. The meeting generally takes place around September of every year.

Where can I get information on what the HOA funds are being used for? If the city is maintaining the greenspaces along the streets and the parks, what portion of HOA funds are being used for neighborhood upkeep?

As a community we are always open to suggestions to improve our neighborhood and community centers. We do have a wish list that we are more than happy to put down a request for dog stations. Items for the community being requested rely on demand and funds the HOA has for the year. Thank you again for your request and it will be added to the wish list.
