Students Referral for Mahindra Satyam Foundation’s IT School
A novel initiative of Mahindra Satyam Foundation, the IT School strives to bridge the Economical and Digital divide in the society.
Come join hands with Mahindra Satyam Foundation in this novel initiative by referring a needy candidate and help them shape a better future.
Eligibility criteria for the referred candidate are:
• Boys and Girls who are in the age group of 18-25
• School Dropouts, should be from Economically weaker sections.
• Consideration for girls up to 28 Years
• Candidates who are in need of Jobs can only apply
• Candidates having prior knowledge of MS Office and good in English need not apply.
Course Details:
This program is conducted in collaboration with Karnataka Vocational Training and Skills Development Corporation ( KVT&SDC).
• Duration: 2.5 Months, Timings: 10 A.M to 6 P.M, 6 days a week.
• Course consists of Basic Computers like Ms Office, Typing, Internet Concepts, Spoken English and Domestic BPO training.
• Personality Development Classes and Leadership training on Saturdays by volunteers from Mahindra Satyam.
Placement Services:
• Mahindra Satyam Foundation facilitates placement of candidates after the completion of the course.
• Each candidate will be facilitated for 5 interviews.
Selection Procedure:
• Candidates must undergo an Entrance Exam
• Qualified candidates in Entrance Exam need to appear for a Personal Interview
• Shortlist will be done based on the performance in Entrance Exam and Personal Interview.
How to Apply:
• SSLC Mark Card/Birth Certificate/Residential Proof/ Educational Certificate/ 5 Passport size Photograph along with the Form.
• The application form must be filled in candidate’s own handwriting, failing which the application will be rejected.
• Candidate Should submit the application form in IT school on or before 25th September 2010.
Rules and Regulations:
• Once classes started students should come before 10 am and should stay till 5pm.
• During their working hours they are not allowed to go out of the premises.
• Students should take permission before one day, if they need a leave (only if it is Reasonable).In case of ill health they must inform the faculty over phone and must submit leave letter with their Parents Signature whenever they attend the classes.
• Candidates taking leave for more than 3 consecutive days will attract loss of candidature.
• Less than 80% attendance, Indiscipline, misconduct with faculty members of any associate or volunteers will attract loss of candidature and also will not be given seat in subsequent batches.
• At end of the course assessment will be conducted By KVT&SDC. Students who clear the assessment will be awarded the certificate from NCVT.
