Once at the island you'll be prompted to investigate the beams, so go to the closest marker, which is by the waterfront. You'll see a vision in pink of Joseph Seed standing next to an Eden's Gate cross. When you interact with the cross, you'll be given a small piece of the Eden's Gate amulet, which you can hold up by holding up on your d-pad.

This puzzle requires you to align the piece of the amulet with larger pink Eden's Crosses on the island. You'll have to do this three times in three different locations. It's a little visual illusion and is fairly simple once you know how. Listen to Joseph Seed on each occasion and he'll give you audio clues too.
If you turn around from your current location you'll see the first big pink cross but it's partially obscured by pink vines. Joseph is talking about "burning your sins", and there just happens to be some Molotov cocktails here.
Throw one at the vines to burn them off, then stand on the jetty with the pink marker and crates. You'll be able to align your small piece of the amulet with the larger cross, and the perspective will make it look like the full and complete cross. Both will disappear, signifying you're completed the first part of the puzzle.
You're now going to repeat this process for the other two puzzles. Next, head to the cabin inland and interact with the cross again to get the smaller amulet. You'll see Joseph again, and he's talking about "the winds of change".
Here you'll see a windmill with part of the Eden's Gate cross on it, and hanging from the cabin porch is a handle that you can pull to rotate the windmill sails, and the Eden's Gate cross along with it.
It doesn't look like the right fit from here, so you need to go inside the cabin where the pink prompt is, and stand behind the bar to line it up through the hole in the roof. The cross will disappear and you're done.
Now go to the final beam which is on a smaller island close by. Grab the staff, which again hands you the smaller Eden's Gate amulet. Joseph talks about how his family was "smashed and broken", which is your clue. The pieces of the larger pink cross all lay on the floor, propped up against rocks but also partially obscured by wood. Kick and smash all the wood.
Stand at the bottom of the hill here, hold up your symbol and align the cross and you're all done. You now go to the big cross at the top of the island and follow the path illuminated by the pink flames, before entering the bunker.
Move back into the corner behind the desk, and line up the crystals on the roof with those on the windmill which can be seen through the hole. Finally hold up the piece of amulet you hold to complete the symbol.
There will be a flash of light, and all the parts of the symbol except the amulet will go dark. Outside, a ghostly image of The Father will shoot arrows into the distance, causing two more beams of light to appear in the distance. Go to each one and repeat the process.
The other is at the boardwalk and will be covered with ivy that needs to be burned away by shooting the explosive barrels. Then you can line up the symbol from a little place in the water you can stand on.
Follow the corridor inside the bunker until you reach a room where The Father is standing with his back to you. As you approach him he will start to turn towards you, then disappears in a magenta flash.
For a series as off the wall and open-ended as the Far Cry games are, it isn't often that you'll encounter a puzzle that puts a sudden halt to your chaotic rampages. That's exactly what happens in the latest game in the series, Far Cry New Dawn, when you reach the mission The Prophecy and need to align the amulet at several locations. This is part of the main campaign, so there's no getting around this annoying puzzle, but it can be made much easier with the help of this guide.
This mission will send you back to Eden's Gate, the compound where Joseph Seed's cult lived in Far Cry 5, to try and get help. You'll ultimately be turned away by the guards and instructed to go to an island marked on your map to investigate a cross and then a series of beams. By interacting with the cross you'll see a vision of Joseph Seed and given one piece of the Eden's Gate amulet. You will be able to hold up this amulet by holding up on the D-pad.
The puzzle itself asks you to hold up the piece of the amulet you picked up at the precise angle to line up with the glowing marks in the environment to create the symbol. You'll need to manipulate the environment, as well as find the right vantage point, to solve each puzzle. The little monologue Joseph gives at each location also provides clues for how to solve each area as well.
The first puzzle is very straight forward. All the pieces of the symbol will be in front of you, but the ones on the rocks just to your left, and one on the windmill, will be partially covered by some boards. Just smash them away, back up to a conveniently placed glowing pink lamp, and hold up your piece of the amulet to align the symbol.
Follow the waypoint to the next beam and pick up the next gate symbol piece. The floating purple markers will be up on the windmill structure ahead of you, but you'll first need to pull the rope dangling in front of you six times to spin the lines into position. Holding your amulet up from the same spot will complete the symbol.
Once you reach the next beam, you will automatically pick up several molotovs if you weren't already full. You can either throw one at the overgrown symbol in the water to your right or just shoot the explosive barrels to clear up the pink symbol parts. Line them all up from the back of the dock on the broken section under the pink lamp.
The Prophecy is a Story Mission in Far Cry New Dawn. Start it either by knocking at New Eden's door at the end of New Eden's Secret or by simply going on Dutch's former island. In the end you receive Joseph's Word.
Upon reaching Dutch's Island cross a barrier made of Bliss. All enemies vanish and the world turns into a darkblue/pinkish shade. The voice of Joseph Seed introduces himself and starts to tell you about the events which led to the Collapse from his perspective. He instructs you to piece together the past and reveal the truth ("walk the difficult path until you reach an ending - and a beginning"). There are 3 beams on the island which need investigation and can be done in any order. At each location you need to take a piece of a New Eden amulet from a glowing staff and complete the symbol with glowing crystals from a different angle. After completing each symbol, Joseph's apparition shoots an arrow towards The Old Cross. In order to use the amulet, you need to press and hold the binoculars button (Standard: "Z" at keyboards or D-Pad up on controllers).
The southwestern location is a former Peggie-shrine. It was destroyed by the Junior Deputy before the Collapse. Taking the amulet lets some lights appear, which are covered by wooden planks. Destroy these ("reveal the truth") and go to the southeastern rock formation. From this angle the symbol is visible.
The eastern location was the former Ranger Station. A new windmill is added and upon taking the amulet the main Symbol appears on it, but upside down. Pull the pulley 2 times until the 45 part, points top right ("turn away from the past"). Go inside the building and find the right angle behind the counter, by looking trough the roof.
The northwestern location was once the Forest Research Station but is now flooded by the Silver Lake. Josephs apparition stands on the former docks and points towards the south. Use the provided Molotovs the incinerate the brambles ("burn away what's unnecessary") and complete the symbol from the jetty in the water.
Once all symbols are done, go to The Old Cross which is now aflame. Follow the path towards Dutch's former Bunker. A nuke explodes in the distance while Joseph speaks of the end of his path. Enter the bunker until you reach the room in which Far Cry 5 ended. Josephs apparition is here with the book the New Edeners are desperately looking for. Take it and leave the bunker. The island now turns into a normal part of the game with the usual violence and day/night-cycle and the mission ends.
Go to the entrance of New Eden and show the book to the The Judge. They let you in and urge you to follow them to Ethan Seed. This starts Eden's Fire.
An amulet meant to be worn by a champion was a powerful mystical artifact with purifying powers. It was in the possession of Wolfram & Hart and proved to be instrumental during the battle at the Hellmouth.[1]
In exchange for his acceptance of the position as C.E.O. of Wolfram & Hart Los Angeles branch, Lilah Morgan offered the amulet to Angel. She explained it had purifying powers, and she gave Angel a file with information about the situation in Sunnydale. In handing the amulet to the vampire, Lilah said that, apparently, the object was crucial for "some kind of final battle."[2]
Buffy, being about to fight her ultimate battle against the First Evil and its Turok-Han army, gave the amulet to Spike, who promptly accepted the charge despite knowing the object was volatile and its powers unknown. During the battle, Spike finally felt the amulet start working. It initially burned to the touch and made him stumble back, until the amulet suddenly broke the barriers between the vampire and the sunlight above, then it channeled powerful beams through his soul, quickly dusting a dozen of Turok-Hans. The amulet's power began to cause the Hellmouth to collapse, and Spike chose to stay behind to close it forever. In the process, the vampire was consumed from within, burning to ashes, and dying as a hero.[1]
After Spike's physical body was eventually restored,[5] the amulet and what it did to him was mentioned several times. At one event, when Team Angel were about to destroy the Circle of the Black Thorn, Angel gave Spike his assignment, who adamantly declared: "First off, I'm not wearing any amulets."[6]
