Things you need to know about this group

Dear all,

We have added all of you to our cassava modelers Google group. The group was created to share ideas, knowledge, concerns, and documentation, mainly as a way to put together the efforts of all of us. Some things you need to know about the group:

1. There is a discussion topic named “Cassava Model Documentation”, in which we have upload all the relevant literature about cassava modeling, including climate change studies. You don’t need to comment on that one, but you can upload any publication you think is of interest to the group. To upload a document you need to follow this steps:

1. Open your Google docs (http://docs.google.com)

2. Upload the document

3. In the left panel of your Google docs you will find a folder called “Cassava Model Documentation”

4. Drag and drop the recently uploaded document onto the “Cassava Model Documentation” folder

2. To start a discussion just click on the “New topic” button

Also if you want to follow the updates and activities in the group you can find important documents in the folder Consortium information onto the  Cassava Model Documentation folder.  

There you can find a document that explain our work plan, the reason of  a consortium and its benefits (Cassava Modeling the future or Yuca modelando el futuro) and the diagram of the project (cassava project).

The idea is when we have an advance in our work with some outputs it would be documented there, as the summary of our meeting in August about the cassava's mechanistic model in DSSAT (News Bulletin on the Cassava modeling group rethinking-cassava-model).
