You have 5 pheromone groups, which are represented by roman numbers from I to V. The chosen pheromone group will have its numbers enlarged. You can choose to place or remove markers by clicking on the respective icons.
Each ant icon represents a group of ants which are spawned from the same brood chamber. The queen workers have a flag on their icon. The numbers beneath each icon means the number of active ants/ total ant population in the respective control groups.

Empires of the Undergrowth is a challenging RTS game where only the most ferocious and resourceful ant colony will survive. In the fire ant update, two new levels arrived with the swarming fire ants, Cold Blood and A Bridge Too Far.
