华人社团活动

奥斯汀的各华人社团准备在12/7共同举办一个午餐会。现在参与社团有华商会，专家学者协会，华人之友，艺联等。我们华美也受邀参与。大家有什么建议？

之前搞过类似的活动吗？ 之前在会上都讨论些什么内容的？ 是社团的管理人员参与的还是所有成员都参与的？ 建议把各种房地产，医疗保健的广告的成分降到最低，不然人家会反感，除非免费吃喝大家没意见。 如果餐馆没定的话，建议选好好，因为他是广东菜口味比较轻，适合大众。川菜口味实在太重，承受不起。希望餐馆的选择不要被广告了。 一家之言。。。 请指教。。。 Sent from Yahoo Mail on Android

good questions, I think everyone is invited. I think co-sponsoring events are quite common in the past.The venue is tentatively set to be at Thomas Buffet. I think if someone wants to advocate their business, then they need to sponsor the meeting by paying some money. So it's fair. I think everyone pays their own meal. 

it's a good opportunity to expand our membership. We can have opportunity to talk about our organization and maybe even setup a table somewhere for member signup as well.

Zilker Park or Emma Long BBQ or if want easy, get catering....since it is Saturday, more family will be involved if weather permits....

good idea, I think they want to start something simple for the first time though. But good point for family involvement.
