Is immersion absolutely necessary for achieving fluency, or can consistent study without immersion be just as effective?

Immersion can accelerate learning, but it’s not the only way to become fluent. Many people reach advanced levels without full immersion by using creative and consistent study techniques. The key is meaningful exposure and practice, regardless of environment.

Full immersion can definitely speed things up, but it’s not the only way. I’ve made solid progress without ever leaving my country. The key is regular exposure and active use of the language. For example, the promova app offers immersive-style exercises and conversations that simulate real-life scenarios. That’s helped bridge the gap for me.
