4th Ca$hflow 101 event

Hi All,

 

I’ve had a real wrestle with my conscience and decided that, as a school governor with a date fixed in for tomorrow evening that I have known about for months, I owe it to the school to attend tomorrow’s Governing Board meeting.

 

I realise that this will let everybody down and will create an imbalance for tomorrow evening’s event. I also know that I got a whole LOAD out of last week’s event and that playing the Ca$hflow game will help me to become a wealthy person with a thriving business, as a lot of your positive attitude rubs off on me.

 

You therefore have my unreserved apologies for letting each and every one of you down  tomorrow night.

 

I feel that I should also let you know that there is a possibility that I may be unable to attend on the evening of 20^th May. The reason for this is that I have a planned operation that I will undergo on Saturday, 16^th May, which will mean an overnight stay and a few days off work. I do not know how this will affect my ability to drive at the time of writing. I am hopeful that I should be OK by then, but it is an unknown quantity at the time of writing.

 

By way of redressing the balance, I will put together a list of positive books that I have in my library and circulate to you all. I am quite happy to lend the titles I send to you and can bring any, with sufficient notice, to the next Ca$hflow event.

Hi Kev

If you mention the concept of a cashflow club and explain what the board game is at the meeting then we'll let you off.

You could setup a club in Bradford as part of the afterschool club activities.

If everyone can look in their diaires and give me notice of Wednesdays they definitely can't make then I'll attempt to call up reserves.

I’ll raise it under AOB, Rob. As the new headmistress will be there, (she starts in September), it’s worthy of a mention. If she hadn’t been, I could easily have seen it being put back until the first meeting she attended, but at least the door is open – I just hope it doesn’t take too much of a nudge to open the door a bit wider.
