Hey Assaf,
Hmm, ok, I'm trying to find a means to create icons that match the
clean look you've already got. I'll keep digging around, if you
happen to recall or come across more that are similar I'd appreciate
if you could pop me a msg.
At present I'm actually not using the EBS features which will probably
explain why the enhancements don't make a lot of sense. Largely I've
been trying to get my team/firm to take on fogbugz and use it's EBS
features for quite some time but it's been an incredibly difficult
battle to convince people. Thus I've taken to using it on my own in
parallel with what we use internally. Part of the issue though is
that we presently do rather basic time/task/bug tracking via
sharepoint lists and it's excruciating. Thus I found I could still
use fogbugz to replace what we do now and start building a case for
it's use, hopefully migrating people to seeing the benefit of EBS over
arbitrary due dates, time tracking and pressure over meaningless
deadlines. In order to build a case against our present system and
for EBS I've needed greater granularity on tracking to report where
our time is wasted in how we presently do things and thus the couple
enhancements including the ability to back track time make a huge
difference.
Unfortunately this indeed does conflict with the ability to migrate
current projects I'm tracking over to EBS but I'm hoping it's a means
to an end such that I can first get my team to adopt Fogbugz as a
replacement for what we do now and then start arguing for EBS over
arbitrary time tracking. Ideally I'd like to figure out a way to
adjust tasks such that they don't count against velocity as it'd
enable both forms of tracking but I haven't had a lot of success with
such a venture yet.
None the less, casetracker is proving a hugely beneficial tool and I
greatly appreciate all the hard work you've put into it. Hopefully
some of my own edits will eventually prove useful enough to include
within the main build.
