It's an account of a writer who's slowly losing his linguistic skills as a result of a brain tumor. What's remarkable is that he's still able to write coherently and fluently enough to describe his experience. It's one thing to read about the symptoms of aphasia in a textbook, and another altogether to hear what it's like to experience it firsthand.

(Also, this group still exists and is sadly underutilized. What up?)
