Damyaanis one of the mahavillains of the Chhota Bheem series (2008). He is an anthrohomorphic Snake who is also very skilled at magical powers and has a powerful snake-like staff with which he can perform all kinds of magic. According to the recent timeline, Damyaan was after the 'Jal Chakra' of Sagarpura (kingdom in the ocean) which results in Simihika (Sister of the king of Sagarpura) getting cursed and Damyaan gets thrown out of Sagarpur. He then reaches Sonapur where he overthrows, guru shambhu and acquires magical powers from the 'Book of Magi' and three magicial rings. However, according to 'Rise of Damyaan' (2019), Damyaan is a boy who acquires 'asim karna' and transforms into the great snake.

Damyaan has appeared as a great snake of a thick oak like poisionous green colour with green eyes and two flagella like threads from his snake like head. He has a upside-down triangular belt coloured in red with different gold jewels like bracelet and a circular gold symbol in his chest. He is shown to wield a snake like staff with a bulbous blue orb in the mouth of the snake like head of the staff. He can do great magicial acts while using this wand.

However, in the most recent new big picture, 'Damyaan ki Dehshat' and 'Damyaan ka Badla', he appears in a very different style with a green belt and is shown wielding a trident at most times. He has green eyes which appear to be zoomed in at a few points. He appears much more threatning and does a lot more than his previous appearences.

King Mahasagar, Great Simhika and Damyaan all were learning the powers of 'Jal Shakti' where Simhika mastered all the five powers of 'Jal Shakti.' As time passed, Mahasagar became the king and Damyaan became his commander-in-chief who won many battles. Damyaan and Mahasagar were good friends but as Damyaan got absorbed in malice, he lied to Mahasagar about doing a 'shakti kriya' for the betterment of Sagapur. Upon the king's behest, all three of them performed the kriya which created Mahasagar's Trident, Simhika's Conch and Damyaan's 'Chakravyuh' which contained the Jal Chakra.

Damyaan tried to acquire the powerful trident but simhika intervened which resulted in a big explosion that led to simhika being cursed and king mahasagar, in grief, banished damyaan forever from Sagarpur. Hence, Damyaan abandoned his watery home and proceeded to the sandy terrain of the city of gold, Sonapur.

Damyaan acquired the most powerful, 'book of magi' from the king of sonapur i.e, guru shambhu and eventually banished him to the underground. He eventually threw all the people of s napur out of their own city, after posing as a king. He also created his 'kaal sainik' (death warrior) army through magic. He then began a great ritual to become immortal, but he got imprisoned in a magical concealment, but if he was released by a human king with a heart of gold, he would become immortal and invincible. Skandi, his prime minister, took the responsibility of restoring his master to full power.

Skandi ambushed merchant kirodimal and his team in the jungles of Dholakpur and posed as the merchant to Raja Indraverma and persuaded him to visit Sonapur because of his greed and eventually got Damyaan released. However, with the help of Singhala and Guru Shambhu, Bheem and his team learned magic with which they were able to destroy the book of magi with the rings and Bheem used the 'veer mantra' to render damyaan powerless and trapped him in the chamber of eternity.

Due to Professor Dhoomketu's device malfunctioning in Sonapur, Bheem and his team get transported 50 years in the past where they learn magic from Rishi Aseem. They meet the child version of Guru Shambhu and Damyaan. The child (Damyaan) i.e, Damu tricks Bheem into finally getting the aseem karna, with which he transforms into Damyaan. A possible theory might be that he is a new damyaan. Bheem eventually traps him once more in a magical confinement and returns to the present time. Possibly, this new damyaan then appears in 'Kank Bahadur ka Khazana.

The Original Damyaan who was locked in the chamber of eternity gets released many years later by Mahashaitan, when he wants to free himself by use of the five chakras. He seizes the trident and acquires the Jal chakra and presents it to Mahashaitan. Once, the great evil gets released from the door (possibily an alternative to Atraksh). He participated in the war of the chakraveers where he again lost his powers and was imprisoned faraway.

Damyaan eventually got released once more, by a very weak mahashaitan and he eventually went to free 'Bhashak' who would give him his powers back along with possibly freeing Mahashaitan from his imprisonment. He even manages to kill Simhika and release 'Agni-Rakshak' from the great door, where he was locked by Shri Krishna.

The new damyaan, who was trapped in Asim Karna, probally gets trapped in the ocean by Sindhudevi's curse. He was able to free himself by the help of the pirate Rylts from Jhankara, the land of pirates. Bheem and his team face him once more and leaves the new damyaan powerless as well as he escapes again in the ocean, promising to return.
