I'm opening a poll to survey what feature you guys would actually want to see worked on next. Please only one entry per person.

Direct link to poll: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/viewform?fromEmail=true&formkey=dGtBNF96bExZZ0E0X0p5ZUFTb2NyTkE6MQ

I got started doing this: http://cascalog.quantisan.com/ (temporary address for demo only) source repo here: https://github.com/Quantisan/cascalog-doc The idea is to bring all the docs into one place, copy and restructure the existing guides, and make the learning flow more coherent. Then wondered that maybe this isn't the best use of my time considering there's so much other stuff to do. Seeing that we're data people, I figured we can let the data decide.

I really like that start for a Cascalog documentation site.

Result for the poll is in. Attached below is the graph.

We also have one person voted for integrating a machine learning library into Cascalog and another to isolate the system library.

Thank you for taking the time to vote!

If the graph doesn't show up, here's the image link: http://www.quantisan.com/static/images/2013/cascalog_poll_graph.png

Paul,

This is great. I suppose the question now is: how shall we divide up the work?

I think there are a few of us already looking at the docs (which we should also think about how we'll divide it up).

cheers,
Bruce

good question. how about we tag our name on the section that we want to work on in the google doc before drafts, and then push often to the github repo as we fill in content?
